We love to work with kids! Bring your little one in for an exam, cleaning, polish, and Fluoride treatment, all in one go! It’s very important to bring your child in for regular dental check-ups, and we need to start as soon as the first baby tooth erupts. We recommend coming in every six months to make sure their teeth are in great shape. We strive to provide your loved ones with the best care and make them comfortable. Every child who came in to see us at TUTH Dental gets a prize to take home!
Oh no! My baby got a cavity! That’s ok, we got you covered. We are proficient at providing pediatric dental treatments. It’s a common misconception to think baby teeth don’t require dental treatment, but the reality is that untreated baby tooth decay can lead to fracture, premature baby tooth loss, and even infection that can affect their adult teeth and cause other health problems. Whether it’s a filling, baby tooth root canal, or crown, we do it all! We are extra gentle with children. We want to leave them a good impression of dentistry and and teach them the importance of good oral hygiene.
Sometimes your child’s baby tooth can be really stubborn and doesn’t want to come out. We can painlessly remove your child’s baby tooth when they fail to naturally exfoliate. If your child has a dental infection due to extensive cavity, that can also be an indication for extraction. Retained baby tooth can lead to crowding of adult teeth and may be harder to correct later down the road.
When your child’s baby tooth falls out prematurely, it can leave an empty space behind that can disrupt the normal adult tooth eruption sequence. This can lead to premature adult teeth eruption and can affect your child’s bite. We can put a little device called “space maintainer” to hold the other teeth in place until the corresponding adult tooth erupts.
